NAXCAT® Sulfonic acid catalysts are widely used in industrial applications as diverse as esterification, thermoset resins for paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals, and phenolic foam, as well as many others. Nease Performance Chemicals offers a wide range of acid catalysts in varying concentrations and dilution media. We can even customize acid catalysts to meet your specific needs by providing custom blends, pre-blending with other components, modifying specifications, and developing high purity versions.
As a batch sulfonator since the early 1950’s, Nease has been leading the industry in the development and manufacturing of sulfonic acid catalysts. Sulfonic acid catalysts are comparable in strength to mineral acids such as sulfuric acid but are especially suitable for organic reactions where an inorganic mineral acid could cause charring, oxidation, or an unwanted chemical reaction.
